Funerals

We are reminded that loss is a part of life’s natural rhythm, a painful reminder of our shared impermanence. Saying goodbye is never easy, for it means letting go of the physical presence of someone who has deeply touched our lives.

Yet, in that goodbye, we honour their memory and the love they gave us.

Planning a funeral can be the hardest thing a family can do.

My aim is to honour the departed’s life with dignity, sincerity, and warmth. To recognise them as unique individuals, and to make the ceremony a reflection of their life, their values, and the love they inspired in those around them.

I hope to provide a ceremony that will provide a sense of connection and comfort to all.

As John Donne wrote, He is not dead who leaves a life behind him in the hearts of others.” Though we part with them in this world, their essence lives on in our hearts, in our stories, and in the ways they shaped who we are. Goodbye is not an end, but a continuation of love in a different form.
